LAS VEGAS – 2020 started out really promising. Before all of this corona virus business I would say things were taking off full swing. Even the rock and roll scene looked pretty good. Legendary Van Halen front man David Lee Roth signed on to do some epic shows at The House Of Blues Las Vegas which is housed in Mandalay Bay. Fans know well that one more Van Halen show might not be in the cards due to guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s state of health. But at least we get to rock out with Diamond Dave once more and that’s a good thing right?
Diehard fans will always clamor for the 1978 sound but that was 42 years ago. I am happy to get what we can. Personally I would go see Diamond Dave if he came out in a wheel chair. I might just get my wish because this guy is not slowing down any time soon. He may not be young and fiesty anymore but he is no doubt a great showman at his craft.
Hey, do you really want to stay home in your apartment? So the word on the street is that the final six shows have been put on hold due to the pandemic. So all you fans out there gotta take your whiskey home. The 65 year old rocker confesses that a Van Halen reunion may not be possible and that the band might be all done. But we were able to get access to some clips of Dave in action. Everybody wants some….. right?
LET IT ROCK !!
