CHICAGO- North Korea's Dictator Kim Jung Un is in critical condition after heart surgery this week. The 36-year-old leader is in the hospital after health problems stemming from smoking, obesity, and overwork. The Twitter tag #KimJungUn blew up on Tuesday morning and the media is unclear if he is making a recovery or near death.
The strange media sage of Kim Jung Un is hypnotic and very unclear. CNN had interviewed Detroit Piston's Dennis Rodman in a series of talks regarding diplomacy and peace talks. The incoherrant Rodman was given the floor on an exclusive on-air interview along with his posse. During the interview, Rodman appeared extremely agitated and kept talking over the question points and even tearing up at times. Rodman had become friends with the North Korean dictator and even played basketball together.
What follows next is straight-up bizarre and hard to piece together. There were media reports of Rodman arriving as a guest in North Korea and displays of obnoxious drunken behavior. According to various websites, he got blackout drunk and defecated in the hallway of his hotel. Rodman was thrown out of the country and warned not to come back until he cleaned up his act with an alcohol problem. Other reports claim Rodman was running around naked in the Pyongyang hotel and acted like an "animal". Rodman also vomited all over his room and horrified the hotel staff with his endless yammering.
Kim Jung Un was tight-lipped about the disgraced NBA star. The North Korean government cut Rodman a pass on this whole disgusting affair. They weren't so gracious with American college student Otto Warmbier who was arrested in 2016 for stealing a North Korean propaganda poster and imprisoned to 15 years of hard labor. Warmbier was later released in 2017 after much media attention. He came back to America in a coma state and had to be carried on a stretcher.
There is no immediate reaction yet from Rodman regarding Kim Jung Un's current state. The last known news report regarding Rodman's opinion on North Korea was 4 days ago.
